In all of Charlie’s photos, he is in pasture
condition. He has not been sweated or
conditioned. He is ‘au-naturale’ and is very healthy. I could clip his bridlepath,
but he’s just so cute with all that hair falling over his ears and around his
face.

August 18, 2005—“Hey baby, my stall or yours?!”
June 30, 2005—Charlie and Flashdance,
a 23 yo Thoroughbred mare.
This mare absolutely loves Charlie.
She stole him (briefly) from his mom when he was a few weeks old.
June 10, 2005—He just got rained on and is muddy.
June 5, 2005—I thought this was a nice shot showing
his sporty trot, although the photo quality is lousy.
May 23, 2005—Now here’s that typical Charlie “smile” I
love about him. Cloudy and rainy, so he
was a bit muddy. Also, he got kicked in
the front of the neck, double barrels, a few days earlier, so the front of his
neck was a bit swollen. He’s fine
though. Please excuse the poor quality
photos—bad camera day!
May 14, 2005—Do you know ho hard it is to parade a
stallion around a mare in season with a lead rope in one hand and camera in the
other?? Lead rope got in the way in the
last shot—darn it!
May 2, 2005
April 10, 2005—2 of my favorite shots.
He wanted to roll so bad, and I wouldn’t let
him. I kept chasing him around the pasture
with my camera. Then he was trying to
get Lady (not pictured here) to join in the fun. I’m sure that anyone who was watching must
have thought I was nuts.
March 14, 2005—A little over a month shy of his 3rd birthday.
Charlie is in his winter woolies in these photos, although he did not
get as shaggy as the rest of the herd.
