This
website is photo-intensive. In other
words, no frills—just photos! Some of
the pages are filled with photos.
Depending on your computer, it may take a bit of time to download some
of the pages. But they are well worth
the wait. Please enjoy my website. I welcome your comments.
NEWSFLASH!
Come visit my store on CafePress!
A wide selection of
gifts and apparel displaying some of my photographs of my beloved Arabian
horses. Take a look. They make wonderful Christmas gifts. All photos were taken by me.
08/11 Wow!
It’s been almost a year since I’ve last updated my website. I guess the big news would be that Bambi has been sold. She has awesome new “parents” and is living
at a wonderful ranch only 35 minutes from here.
She is learning all kinds of things.
Gracie is getting tall; hard
to believe she’s 2 years old. Hassana (Bambi's
mother) is still lame from her injuries from nearly 3 years ago when she was in
Virginia, but she’s happy. Moniet is doing
great. She’s coming along very well and
is learning to trust again. She was a
basket case when she arrived here 2 years ago.
But she’s a big love. I’ve got
tons of gorgeous photos of her that I just put on her page—check them out! Charlie
is just being Charlie—and is as beautiful (and chunky) as ever. At this time, I have no horses that are for
sale, however, the person I sold Zeke
to is now offering him for sale. She is just so busy now with her family, so
does not have the time to promote a stallion.
Contact me for more info. An
update on Faji
(Zeke’s mom) and her 4 year old filly, Zeta,
who were sold to a woman in the UK—Faji is now living
like a queen in Kuwait, and she even has her own full-time groom to attend to
only her; Zeta is now owned by the owner of the Libyan Oil Company, and lives
in Libya.
11/10 I haven't updated in a long while. Gracie
is getting big--she's almost 14.1hh at 19 months old. Hassana (Bambi's mother) is back
home with me, to hopefully live out the remainder of her life. Bambi
and/or Grace are for sale. Bambi
has been trained to walk and trot under saddle, and is ready for more training
in Sport Horse/Dressage or Western; whatever your discipline as she is very
versatile. Both are priced well below
their worth due to a poor market.
01/10 I have added my mom to my memorial
page. Please have a look—the link is at top
of page. Thank you.
12/09 I am very saddened to report that my
mother, Lois A. Montfort, has lost
her long battle with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) on December
28th. She is dearly missed. Click HERE for link to her obituary.
11/09 Zeke has been sold. He is happy in his new home in VT. Moniet has tested Homozygous
Black!
10/09 Ferin Arabians welcomes the exotic,
black mare RC Desert Moniet
into our small herd! Check her out here!
